I hold myself to the same standard I would hold your site to, because a designer whose own site is slow is telling you something.

Local trades and service businesses mostly — Sacramento, Elk Grove, Roseville, Folsom, Rancho Cordova, Citrus Heights and the towns between them. Roofers, septic and plumbing outfits, landscapers, salons, shops, one-person operations that have outgrown a Facebook page.

Common questions
How much does a website cost in Sacramento?
I publish my prices rather than making you book a call to hear them: The Tune-Up at $1,500, The Overhaul at $3,000, The Empire at $5,000. Most small businesses want the middle one. A quote is fixed before work starts; there is no hourly meter running.
How long does it take?
Two to three weeks for a standard five-page site, assuming I have your text and photos. The slow part is almost never the building — it is waiting on content, so I will help you get that together rather than let it stall.
Do I have to be in Sacramento?
No. I am based in Sacramento and most of my work is local — Sacramento, Elk Grove, Roseville, Folsom, Rancho Cordova, Citrus Heights — because I would rather meet you. But the work does not require it.
What if I already have a website?
Then bring it and I will tell you honestly whether it needs replacing. Sometimes the answer is that it does not, and a few fixes would do. I would rather say that than sell you a rebuild you did not need.
